May 2008

Adjusting to life with a new baby and finding a new balance as a family of four has, of course, been the major event for us this month. Luckily Jacintha is being easy on us. She sleeps 4-5 hours per night and quite a lot during the day. I keep waiting for her to reveal her true newborn nature and keep us up all night. But, knock-on-wood, that has yet to happen. This has been a blessing since May was just as busy as most months for us... Lilian was the flower girl in two back to back weddings. Josh had the opportunity to go to Chicago to testify in front of a U.N. rapporteur on the state of Human Rights in Minneapolis. Plus he is finishing up his Masters in Social Work- set to be done at the end of June. Will things finally slow down for us then? We'll see..
